Over the years, the selection of trainers available has broadened a lot. Exercising in general has become more popular and in turn so has leisure wear (even when people aren’t actually exercising). Sports retailers have really upped their game as people are starting to incorporate their leisure wear into their everyday wardrobe. I have seen a few really nice statement lifestyle trainers around and decided I wanted a pair too!
I saw a pair of metallic silver Nike Air Max Theas and loved them. As I don’t wear trainers a huge amount I decided they were a bit too unusual for me and I also felt that I wouldn’t get enough wear out of them. I looked at a few more pairs including a grey Nike pair with a gold metallic tick which looked really nice on the shelf but didn’t look great with jeans (tip: I would definitely recommend wearing the type of trousers that you will be wearing with the trainers when you go shopping for a pair). In the end I went for the all white Nike Air Max Theas, they look great with jeans and match everything. As they are brilliant white, I gave them a spray with my Nine West shoe protector to make sure they wouldn’t scuff. That’s the spray I had but any shoe protector spray will work for you.
